Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Appfacade collects, uses, stores, and protects information. Appfacade is a Google Forms add-on and a Formfacade product operated by MailRecipe LLC.

1. Who we are

Appfacade is a cloud-hosted software service built and operated by MailRecipe LLC. It is offered as part of the Formfacade product family and helps users customize the presentation of Google Forms using prompt-based instructions.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information such as your name, email address, and Google account identifiers.
  • Google Forms metadata such as form titles, section names, question labels, structure, and configuration needed to render or customize a form.
  • Prompt and generation data such as customization requests, generated UI suggestions, and revision history for changes you request.
  • Usage and diagnostic information such as timestamps, browser information, device information, IP addresses, error logs, and feature usage metrics.
  • Support communications and any information you send to us by email or support channels.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the Appfacade add-on and generate the customization results you request.
  • Authenticate users, maintain product settings, and keep forms connected to the correct Google account.
  • Improve reliability, troubleshoot technical issues, prevent abuse, and secure the service.
  • Respond to support requests, notify you about service changes, and communicate important account information.

4. Google API data and Limited Use

Appfacade's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

In particular, Google Workspace data accessed through Google APIs is used only to provide and improve user-facing features requested by you, maintain and secure the service, and comply with applicable law.

We do not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising, or use Google Workspace data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.

5. AI-assisted customization

When you use prompt-based customization features, Appfacade may send your prompt and relevant form structure or formatting context to AI service providers to generate the requested UI suggestions. This processing is limited to providing the requested feature. We do not use this data for advertising.

6. Sharing and subprocessors

We may share data with service providers that help us operate Appfacade, including:

  • Google LLC for hosting, storage, and infrastructure services used to operate the service.
  • OpenAI or similar AI inference providers when needed to generate prompt-based UI customization results.
  • Email and support providers used to send operational notifications and respond to customer requests.
  • Payment providers, if applicable, to process subscription transactions.

We require service providers to handle data in accordance with contractual and security obligations appropriate to their role.

7. Data retention

We retain account and service data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. If you uninstall the add-on or close your account, we will delete or de-identify personal data within a reasonable period, unless longer retention is required by law or for legitimate security purposes.

8. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@formfacade.com.

You can also stop further access to your Google account data by uninstalling the Appfacade add-on or revoking its permissions through your Google account settings.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to apply appropriate controls for the sensitivity of the data we process.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
